Jim is a life-long Marshall County resident being born and raised in Culver, Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from the Indiana University School of Business in Quantitative Business Analysis and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, in 1973. After two years serving in the United States Army as an Adjutant General, he returned to Marshall County where he has continued to engage in general practice in Plymouth and Culver offices.
Jim has over 40 years experience representing clients in general practice. He is former Public Defender in the Criminal Courts of Marshall County, was formerly Culver Town attorney and was engaged as the attorney for Marshall County municipal government for over 13 years. He has a strong background in real estate sales, planning and zoning on Lake Maxinkuckee before the Culver authorities and emphasizes general practice, real estate, probate planning and practice, business practice, contracts, personal injury, criminal law and family issues.
Jim is admitted to practice before all State Courts in Indiana and is admitted in the U. S. Federal Courts in the Northern District and the Southern District of Indiana. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Marshall County, State of Indiana and American Bar Associations.
